So today I'm working on an ambulance who's only job is to transfer vent dependent pt's from an outlying Hosp ER to a Boston Hosp ER.
This isn't exactly the busiest truck in the fleet that's for sure. However today my partner and I actually had a transport. Without getting into any specifics about the call. Let's just say that I've never seen a pt who's receiving a propofol infusion wake up. So you never know what you're going to come across in the job.
Tomorrow is a new day. Maybe I'll see something new tomorrow. If you're not learning in this field then you're most likely burnt out.
